Cardiology Nurse
Case Support:
The Cardiology Nurse will participate in Stress testing as well as Tilt Table Testing. Additionally, will perform the non-vascular components of the H&V screenings.
Nursing Support:
The Cardiology Nurse will provide patient assessment pre and post procedure as well as during the case. This will include the administrations and monitoring of medications and assessment of life threatening arrhythmias. The nurse will be able to provide emergency assistance as needed.
Education:
The Cardiology Nurse is knowledgeable of the techniques, risks, and benefits of Stress and Tilt Table testing procedures. The nurse is able to provide education to the patient and family.
Proficient in reading 12-lead ECG's. Uses age specific and culture related physical, intellectual, psychosocial and developmental attributes incorporated in patient care activities.
Current active Michigan License
BSN preferred
BLS, ACLS
Cardiology experience including ECG interpretation
