The VP Revenue Cycle is charged with leading and managing the organization's revenue cycle management function.
Via department creation and leadership, process and technology innovation, and executive collaboration the VP Revenue Cycle will promote operational and financial success for the company.
Day to Day
Responsibilities:
Develop systems & processed to minimize RCM costs Establish KPIs to optimize revenue cycle operations Manage 3rd party vendors Collaborate both internally and externally to ensure continuous process improvement within revenue cycle department Identify and implement process and automation improvements Improve repeatable billing, collections, and processing processes within Athena Lead Athena RCM implementation / transition from legacy RCM Develop revenue integrity / compliance controls and processes Support internal and external training and coaching Work with finance department for proper reporting and anlaysis Represent revenue cycle department in executive meetings Maintain understanding of billing, coding, and other standards Other duties as assignedRequired
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree 5
years revenue cycle management experience RCM implementation / integration CMS Audit Private practice managed service organization (MSO) experiencePreferred
